I had the pleasure of working directly with Scott Malech for several years, and the time since then has only served to reinforce with me that – when it comes to design – he is a craftsman of the highest level. His meticulous nature, attention to detail, and pure appreciation of art truly make his work stand out; there’s simply a level of quality that others cannot replicate. Beyond his talent, though, one thing that I particularly respect and admire about his approach is that he always takes a genuine, purposeful interest in the business he is supporting. He knows that it’s more than “pretty pictures and slick effects.” A design is a story, and in that, Scott is Shakespeare. It’s been rewarding to know him both personally and professionally.

You know you’ve hit the jackpot when your designer offers to deliver a comp on a Saturday, do a press check and deliver the proof to you personally AND continues to ask “what else can I do to help you”.  You are a gem Scott and really appreciate your talents!

Scott Malech… what more can I say about this guy that hasn’t already been said. My mentor from day one, he has taught me (and continues to teach me to this day) the fundamentals of what good graphic design is and I have been able to apply that to my own professional career. Meticulous, diligent, creative… these are just a few word that come to mind when I think about Scott and his craftsmanship when it comes to being a designer. This man oozes talent and comes with my highest recommendation!

I am lucky enough to have a brother as talented as Scott Malech. From 1998-2008 he helped me with the graphics and marketing for my specialty fly fishing store, San Jose Fly Shop. What makes Scott special is that is immerses himself in the client. He wants to understand the industry and personality he is creating an image for. First it was our logo, then our print adds, and then ultimately our website. Always following a clean style that help to shape a very cool brand. I can say without a doubt, that Scott’s influence on our brand helped make the San Jose Fly Shop successful.

What a treat! In the midst of COVID-19 lock-downs and after spending the vast majority of my day between homeschooling two boys and trying to self-teach myself some of the ins and outs of InDesign, I got caught up in my emails to find a GORGEOUS logo delivered by Scott. I love, love, love the intentional and purposeful details from color selection to a beveled ampersand. That’s exactly what our logo needed. Amazing, Scott…THANK YOU!

Iʼve had the pleasure to witness Scott turn an ordinary request to the extraordinary, over and over again! I have worked with him for the past 15 years. And did he. In spades. I just wish Scott had more opportunities to create ads. That’s because his ads, stand on their hind legs and bark. Bark for attention that leads to engagement and ultimately sales. And there’s Scott Malech: Not so much smug but with his genuine sincerity and self confidence all but says, “I told you so.”

Iʼve had the opportunity to work with Scott for over 5 years, and his professionalism is top-notch. Heʼs personable and great to work with. Iʼve also been a client, and have been repeatedly impressed with his work. Not only is he creative and talented, he has a way of really understanding the needs of his customers and delivers exceptional results!

Iʼve had the pleasure of knowing Scott both personally and professionally for over 13 years now and know he will be a great fit. I have known Scott for over forty years, as a close friend to his Mother, Mary Malech, I was able to watch Scott grow into an incredibly talented, giving, supportive man. When Carl and I decided to marry, Scott made our Wedding Invitation, as a gift at no charge, and we absolutely loved them!!

Fast forward and years later, Carl and I volunteered at the Pismo State Beach Monarch Grove. Carl gave Talks to the public and my friend, Jann and I ran the Gift Shop. We had the pleasure of working with Scott several times in 2015 – 2016. He designed logos that were used for the Monarch Grove. He researched the Monarch and their habitat and provided us multiple original and creative designs. He also worked well in a collaborative way when changes were needed to meet CA State Park’s requirements. He sent us files for the printers within our deadline. We sold numbers of items using Scott’s designs (see image below) and received many compliments on the designs.

We would, without hesitation work with Scott on any future projects.
